Our Friends from Kosovo 1999 was an important year as we welcomed 25 members of the Lekaj family after they emigrated to the US from war torn Kosovo. Although they did not settle in Holiday Point, our community welcomed them as friends and worked to make them feel welcome as new members of our town. |

Our New Friends from Kosovo The arriving family members from Kosovo ranged in age from late 60's all the way down to a baby only a few weeks old. Here are some of the teenagers who quickly adapted to the American life style, learned the language and have excelled in our community schools. |
